Dog-Friendly Things to Do at The Battery Atlanta
The Battery Atlanta is a paradise for pups (and their humans)! If you’re planning a trip to The Battery Atlanta and would like to bring your pup along too, have no fear, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to visit and pawesome things to do while you are here. We’re sharing the ulti-mutt scoop to make your next trip with your canine a treat.
Dog-Friendly Activities:
Get your dog’s legs moving with a walk along the Walking Trail presented by Wellstar, a 1.5 loop around The Battery Atlanta. Play and picnic with your pup on the Plaza Green and check out the Bark Market vendors during the Farmers Markets in the summer. Water dogs can cool off in the Splash Pad or with a drink from one of the many water bowls outside of retailers throughout The Battery Atlanta.
During the holidays, take your pup to meet Santa at Santa Paws*, dedicated days for pet photos with Santa.

Dog-Friendly Restaurants:
Although your canine companion is not allowed inside restaurants, plenty of restaurants at The Battery Atlanta allow dogs on their outdoor patios. When dining at The Battery Atlanta with your pup, eat outside at:

Shop till you drop while keeping your pup’s tail wagging! Note: These retailers are dog-friendly but do not supply pet accessories, treats, etc. (scroll down for those). Please be mindful of the dog’s behavior and the customer is responsible for any damaged product on the dog’s behalf.

ASW Distillery: Enjoy an ASW cocktail on the shaded patio while your pup snacks on a free dog treat. And, elevate your dog’s style with a fun dog collar sold inside the tasting room. Please note, dogs are not allowed inside the tasting room.
Braves Clubhouse Store: Even your dog can root for the home team with Atlanta Braves pet gear.
Dress Up: Your pup will stay busy with lots of free treats and love while you shop for yourself. Dress Up does not carry any pet gear, but will occasionally host pop-up vendors in-store that do!
River Street Sweets: Purchase some sweet treats for yourself and a dog bone for your pup!
Dog-Friendly Hotels:
No need to worry about a dog sitter—bring your pup with you on your next overnight stay. Our two hotels, Omni Hotel at The Battery Atlanta and Aloft at The Battery Atlanta, are dog-friendly. Book your next getaway!
Pawlicies & Tips:
- Well-behaved four-legged friends are permitted, please keep your four-legged friends on a leash at all times. Pets must use designated bathroom areas, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their four-legged friends.
- Dog cleaning stations are located throughout The Battery Atlanta and along Circle 75 Parkway and Windy Ridge Parkway.
- Many retailers provide clean water in dog bowls outside of their doors for the thirsty pups on the move.
