The Battery Atlanta is a paradise for people and pets alike! If you’re planning a holiday trip to The Battery Atlanta and want your pet to enjoy the season too, have no fear. There are plenty of pet-friendly places to visit and pawesome things to do while you are here. Make your pet a part of the holiday magic with the help of our pet-friendly events, restaurants, and shops:
Pet-Friendly Activities:
Get the zoomies out with a nice walk along The Battery Atlanta Walking Trail! This scenic, 1.5 mile route encompasses all of The Battery Atlanta and is a great opportunity to get active with your furry friend. Play and picnic with your pet on the Plaza Green or browse through some amazing holiday offerings at our December 7th Holiday Market or our December 21st Kids Holiday Market.
During the holidays, your pet can even drop off their Christmas list to Santa Clause himself at our dedicated Santa Paws events! Stop by the Truist Community Corner on December 11th and December 18th to have them take a picture with Santa.

After all the festive fun at our Holiday Markets and Santa Paws Office, you can enjoy a wide selection of amazing food at The Battery Atlanta. While your four-legged friends are not allowed inside of our restaurants, there are plenty of eateries that would love to see pets on their outdoor patios. Here at The Battery Atlanta, there is something for everyone, and that includes pets! Many of our retailers carry pet supplies and accessories such as grooming products, toys, food, treats, and more:
- ASW Distillery: Enjoy an ASW cocktail on their outdoor patio while your furry friend snacks on a free treat. And, elevate your pet’s style with a fun dog collar sold inside! Please note, pets are not allowed inside the ASW Distillery Tasting Room.
- Braves Clubhouse Store: Even your pet can root, root, root for the home team with Atlanta Braves pet gear!
- Dress Up: Your pet will stay busy with lots of free treats and love while you shop for yourself. Dress Up does not carry any pet gear, but will occasionally host pop-up vendors in-store that do!
- River Street Sweets: Purchase some sweet treats for yourself and a dog bone for your shop!

Pet-Friendly Hotels:
No need to worry about a pet sitter, just bring your pet with you on your next overnight stay! Our two hotels, Omni Hotel at The Battery Atlanta and Aloft at The Battery Atlanta, are pet friendly!
Pawlicies & Tips:
- Well-behaved four-legged friends are permitted, but please always keep your pets on a leash.
- Pets must use designated bathroom areas, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
- Dog cleaning stations are located throughout The Battery Atlanta and along Circle 75 Parkway and Windy Ridge Parkway.
- Many retailers will provide clean water in dog bowls outside of their doors for the thirsty pets on the move.
